The mission of "Artificial Limbs- Regain Mobility" project is to support as many limbless, less fortunate and indigent people by providing them with Artificial Limbs. It is targeted that through this project, at least 21 limbless people will be provided with prosthetic limbs.

 

The artificial limbs are a effective method of achieving mobility and self confidence. It is proven that having some sort of disorder or disability affects the mental state of a human being. Thus this support mechanism provides both physical and mental support.

Through this project, I believe it is possible to help those in need become part of the society once again. Not being part of the society, completely and utterly isolated is not a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, being unable to even move around or have as much fun anymore can affect a person greatly. Restoring the sense of mobility, restoring self esteems and confidence levels in the individuals and most importantly providing them with opportunities is possible by providing artificial limbs.

 

THIS PROJECT IS ASSOCIATED WITH YAYASAN PEDULI TUNA DAKSA (LIMB FOR LIMBLESS), AN INDONESIAN ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES LIMBS FOR FREE TO THE NEEDY INDIGENT PEOPLE.
